Press CTRL-H to bring up the Find/Replace Dialog. Go to the “Replace” tab and then choose the “Regular expressions” checkbox on the bottom of the dialog box.
To add text to the beginning of each line, type ^ in the “Find what” field, and in the “Replace with” field type whatever you want to add to beginning of each line. Then hit “Replace All”.
To add text to the end of each line, type $ in the “Find what” field, and in the “Replace with” field type whatever you want to add to beginning of each line. Then hit “Replace All”.
On Windows/Linux, Alt+Shift+F indents your selection. If nothing is selected, it indents the whole file.
